Machine Operator Job Duties:

• Setting up machinery, carrying out machine operation duties, adjusting machine settings and preparing production items
• Maintaining a safe workspace
• Monitoring production equipment
• Making sure all materials needed are available and inspecting them for quality
• Following safety instructions
• Packaging products for customers
• Keeping records of defective units

Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience in a similar role
• High regard for safety
• Strong knowledge of machines and understanding of production procedures
• Ability to work well with others
• Physical strength – ability to lift 30 - 50 pounds without assistance may be needed (possibly on a regular basis)
• Analytical skills
